Second Harvest Foodbank Food Drive
It’s that time of year again! We’re proud to continue our tradition of partnering with Potter Lawson to support the Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin.
This will be Potter Lawson’s 35th year participating in the Second Harvest Food Drive. The last 28 have been with the Channel 15 “Share Your Holidays” Food Drive that they helped start with Mike McKinney.
Since their first food drive in 1989, with your help we have donated more than 1,000,000 meals to Second Harvest.
This year’s goal is 35,000 meals!
Section 179
What is Section 179?
Section 179 of the IRS tax code allows businesses to deduct the full purchase price of qualifying equipment and software purchased or financed during the tax year. Instead of depreciating these assets over time, businesses can deduct the full amount in the year of purchase, which provides immediate tax relief.
How does it benefit businesses?
Section 179 offers significant financial advantages to businesses by allowing them to reduce their taxable income through immediate deductions on equipment and software purchases. This immediate deduction incentivizes businesses to invest in new equipment, helping with cash flow and enabling them to grow more quickly. It also reduces the need for long-term depreciation accounting.

Help us celebrate Tom Jacobson on another anniversary with BPI Color!
Our newly promoted Service Manager brings 27 years of printing industry expertise, with 17 of those years dedicated to BPI Color. After a brief two-year hiatus, Tom rejoined us as a Service Technician, bringing with him a degree in Applied Sciences for Electronics and extensive IT experience.
His deep knowledge of printers, electronics, and IT makes him an invaluable asset to both our clients and team. Tom’s team is responsible for servicing all PrintWise, MPS, and Service Agreement printers for our clients as well as our in-house equipment. His commitment to excellence has earned our service department high praise for going above and beyond.
